Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at NPC/Sandman Hotel Group. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management
    • Develop and implement operational procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
    • Co-ordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and quality are maintained.
    • Investigate and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets and payrolls for the housekeeping department.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage the inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms for the housekeeping department.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. They will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
