About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at CGS Federal (Contact Government Services). As an Information Systems Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide security guidance and support to IT staff to ensure the secure configuration and operation of systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including security plans, risk assessments, and compliance reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure the effectiveness of our security measures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with a focus on security assessment, risk management, and compliance.
  • Professional security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST and RMF.
