We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Booster Juice. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Work Schedules: Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Site Environment: Noisy and hot work environment.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
Experience:
  • 1-2 Years: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Assistance with Settlement Needs: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • Foreign Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
