About the Role

Momentum is seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement life skills workshops to promote independence and self-advocacy
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including housekeeping and food preparation
  • Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution support
  • Supervise activities and provide guidance to clients living in group homes
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
  • Evaluate work environments to ensure a safe and healthy space
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working with special needs individuals an asset
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
