About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Financing Analyst to join our team at Desjardins. As a key member of our business centre, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and managing financial risks, formulating recommendations, and developing financing packages for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex financial files and formulate recommendations for financing and follow-up conditions, including required guarantees.
  • Perform variable credit control as needed, ensuring compliance with current policies and practices.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of financing files to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Ability to perform market and business centre external environment analyses
  • Financial analysis skills
  • Knowledge of commercial, industrial, institutional, and agricultural market characteristics and credit risk
  • Knowledge of products and services offered by caisses, components, and Desjardins distribution networks
  • Understanding of cooperative and cooperative network values, rules, and operations
