Theatre Operations Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Operations Manager to join our team at Landmark Cinemas. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our theatre, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the management team to effectively manage theatre operations, including cast scheduling, marketing execution, and labour management.
- Manage day-to-day theatre operations, focusing on labour management, KPI metrics, inventory management, and marketing programs.
- Communicate effectively with the management team, including the General Manager and Operational leaders, through regular meetings and communication tools.
- Provide exceptional guest service, greeting and engaging guests to create memorable experiences.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, observing and addressing potential issues.
- Provide consistent performance feedback to cast members and address performance issues in a timely manner.
- Take ownership of budgets, targets, and results, ensuring accountability and transparency.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related industry, such as guest service or retail.
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, hospitality, entertainment, or food service management is an asset.
- Experience with Time & Attendance/Payroll software, such as Ceridian Dayforce HCM, is considered an asset.
- Proven track record in managing and overseeing operations in a retail/service-centric environment.
- Ability to manage and execute marketing programs with a passion for delivering quality products and services.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
