We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team at Southshore Greenhouses Inc. as a Horticulturist Helper.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the daily maintenance and upkeep of our greenhouse and outdoor crops, including cleaning, pruning, and fertilizing.
- Help with hand harvesting and packaging of vegetables, ensuring high quality and freshness.
- Monitor and report any signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies in the crops.
- Collaborate with our team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops as needed.
Our greenhouse is a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs). We are a non-smoking facility and work in a rural area.
Requirements- Reliability and strong work ethic.

- Physical stamina to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of horticulture and crop care.
