At I.P.R. Farms Ltd., we are seeking an Agricultural Operations Assistant to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will play a crucial part in the harvesting and preparation of crops.

About the Job

This is a seasonal work term position that requires individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and able to work well in a team. As an Agricultural Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for cleaning and harvesting horticultural crops such as tomatoes, vegetables, and greenhouse vegetables. You will also remove weeds and water sprouts manually, cut and prepare crops for harvesting, handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs), stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, bend, crouch, and kneel to complete tasks, and use hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

You will work 40-44 hours per week and must communicate effectively in English. We are looking for a reliable team player who is willing to learn and take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and harvest horticultural crops such as tomatoes, vegetables, and greenhouse vegetables.
  • Remove weeds and water sprouts manually.
  • Cut and prepare crops for harvesting.
  • Handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Work Requirements
  • Work 40-44 hours per week.

  • Be a reliable team player.
Seasonal Work

This is a seasonal work term position.

The estimated salary for this position is between $12-$15 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
