Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Groves Memorial Community Hospital.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in triage and prioritization of patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department or a related field
  • Current ACLS and PALS certification
  • CTAS certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
