We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technician/Technologist to join our Water practice in British Columbia. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a heavy civil construction environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Assist in monitoring and managing construction activities.
  • Administer the submittal review process and document control.
  • Prepare progress reports and work summaries.
  • Maintain project site reports and daily field logs.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and officials to meet project needs.
  • Meet with clients and municipal officials to review project needs.
  • Support material sampling and testing requirements.

Requirements

  • A Technical degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • AScT designation and registered as a CTech or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in a heavy civil construction environment.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and a vehicle for site travel.
