Academic General Internist Opportunity at University of Toronto

University of Toronto's Department of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Academic General Internist to join their team. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to contribute to the growth and development of academic general internal medicine.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication, teaching, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other physicians, learners, hospital staff, and administrators. Additional training or interest in POCUS, perioperative medicine, clinic, outpatient hypertension management, addiction medicine, and other teaching areas are considered assets.
The role will involve a 75% clinical component, with the remaining 25% dedicated to teaching and scholarship (for Clinician Teachers) or quality and innovation (CQI). The successful candidate must hold MD qualifications, be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in General Internal Medicine, and be licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Academic rank, salary, and contractual arrangements will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. A competitive compensation package is offered, estimated to be within the range of $250,000-$300,000 per year.
