We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Micro Data Analyst to join our Economic Analysis team at EDC. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting large datasets to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our research team to design and implement data analysis projects, leveraging firm-level datasets and Statistics Canada's databases.
- Develop and maintain complex data models, using econometric techniques and statistical software such as SAS, Python, and R.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business strategy and decision-making.
- Work closely with our data visualization team to create interactive and informative dashboards and reports.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and econometrics.
- Master's degree in economics, data science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in handling large databases and conducting econometric research projects.
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, Python, and R.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
