Senior Software Developer

Trend Micro, a global leader in cybersecurity, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable software applications using best practices and industry standards.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to coding standards and documentation practices.
  • Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Requirements:
  • At least four years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend development.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Go, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex application development, debugging, analysis, and optimization.
  • Experience with large-scale, resilient microservice and event-driven architectures, REST APIs.
  • At least two years of experience building scalable, performant applications in cloud native environments. AWS, Azure, GCP experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Continuous learning mindset, with a passion for keeping up with industry trends and technologies.
