Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance and Operations Developer

Trend Micro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance and Operations Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
  • Create and execute test strategies, cases, and scripts to validate software functionality, performance, reliability, and security.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance, to identify and address defects.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure for efficient and effective testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring their successful resolution.
  • Work with development, product management, and customer support teams to ensure timely and high-quality software releases.
  • Ensure the performance, availability, and reliability of servers, services, and microservices in both Public and Private Cloud environments while adhering to SLAs.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support and debug customer-reported issues as well as internally created service incidents.
  • Maintain a strong focus on security and compliance within the cloud environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including DevOps practices, testing, and operations.
  • Proficiency in AWS/Azure and expertise in cloud-native architecture.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience with test automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with a focus on SLO/SLIs in a commercial cloud-based service.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance adherence within a cloud environment, including PCI, ISO27001, and SOC2.
