Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Brandon Regional Health Centre. As a Hospitalist Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals requiring inpatient admission who do not have a physician with admitting privileges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient care, including work-up, referrals, discharge planning, and liaison with community primary care providers.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and hospital operations.

Requirements:

  • Member in good standing with the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
  • Coverage in the appropriate category.
