Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at THE YELLOW SUBMARINE. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a smooth service
  • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile and a positive attitude
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen
  • Take customers' orders and remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for food service
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) to meet the physical demands of the job
  • Reliability, dependability, and a positive attitude to ensure a seamless dining experience
