Position Overview
In the role of Regional Financial Manager, your primary objective will be to enhance sales and profitability within your region by collaborating with and developing our store teams.
This hybrid/field position reports directly to the Regional Manager and is based in a dynamic environment.
Daily Responsibilities
Working at H&M means that each day presents unique challenges, but typical responsibilities include:
- Taking the lead in optimizing sales and profitability across the region through effective management of physical retail locations.
- Implementing the Commercial Strategy for the region in alignment with the overarching Regional objectives.
- Ensuring an exceptional Omni Customer Experience through strategic Workforce Planning and operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with the Sales market team to establish annual budgets and forecasts for Sales, Efficiency, and Costs.
- Guiding the region towards achieving both top-line and bottom-line financial targets.
- Developing hourly operational plans with Store management to facilitate efficient store operations and enhance both colleague and customer experiences.
- Ensuring robust execution by aligning operational plans and schedules effectively.
- Partnering with the Area team to determine optimal staffing levels for all stores in your region, in accordance with Sales market objectives.
- Identifying, nurturing, and mentoring talent while promoting cross-functional collaboration.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 60% of the time.
Candidate Profile
Who You Are:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in retail leadership or personnel management, ideally within retail operations.
- 1-3 years of experience in a business analysis or financial role within a retail context is preferred.
- A strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficient in coaching and guiding staff, with experience in performance management and progressive discipline techniques.
- An inclusive mindset, open to feedback, and eager to multitask and learn on the job.
- A commitment to store management development and a strong store orientation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to company-specific systems.
- Capable of delivering training and communicating complex technical information in a clear and accessible manner.
