About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at La cucina. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including Italian cuisine, to meet the demands of our restaurant.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability and dependability, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
