We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at Empire Ventures Food Corp.
Job Summary:The Shift Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Hire food service staff
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 35 to 44 hours of work per week
The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
