Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Construction Foreperson to join our team at Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supervising and motivating a crew to complete a variety of landscaping and construction tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate a crew to complete a variety of landscaping and construction tasks
  • Set the pace by working with crew leaders and the team to complete tasks
  • Operate a variety of powered and unpowered equipment, including dump trucks, trailers, quick cut saws, and tamper and backpack blowers
  • Plant annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees, and prune equipment
  • Perform minor concrete work and repairs
  • Interact with customers to troubleshoot and solve landscape problems
  • Build strong team spirit through effective communication and proactive issue resolution
  • Provide on-the-job training and enforcement of regulations related to health and safety, operating equipment, and proper work standards
  • Take overall goals and deadlines of jobs and delegate to crews to accomplish high-quality work on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • College horticulture school diploma or equivalent and/or one to three years team leader experience in the construction sector of the landscaping industry
  • Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift or move a minimum of 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of team leader experience

Work Environment:

Love of working outdoors is essential, and the willingness to work in bad weather conditions is required.
