Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Baillie House. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide person-centered care to our residents, promoting their autonomy, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including wound care, dementia care, and palliative care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, gathering data and providing input to inform best practices.
- Collaborate with Licensed Practical Nurses and other team members to ensure a safe and supportive work environment.
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- One (1) year's recent, related gerontological nursing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
