About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Sales Coordinator to join our team. As a Commercial Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for preparing and typing commitment letters and documentation, following up with clients on due diligence requirements, and assisting in the processing of renewal summaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and type commitment letters and documentation in respect of new loans, loan amendments, Anti Money Laundering Schedules, and other general correspondence.
  • Follow up with clients on all due diligence requirements for both CMHC and Conventional Commercial Mortgages commitment.
  • Assist in processing of renewal summaries.
  • Prepare and type MBS and conventional Renewal Agreements, AML, and other general correspondence.
  • Ensure that the Renewal Agreement has been fully executed and all conditions (including AML requirements) have been satisfied.
  • Complete first AML scan for renewals and when approved, forward the renewal package to the Administration Department.
  • Input information on the loan origination and banking system.
  • Save documents on the appropriate file folders under commercial drive.
  • Prepare correspondence to CMHC regarding special conditions and CMHC compliance as required.
  • Order all online corporate reports, property assessments, and credit bureau reports and title searches.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role with commercial mortgages.
  • Mortgage or real estate office experience and/or Post-Secondary Degree in Administration is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of AML.
  • Able to multitask and switch priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Bilingualism in French is an asset.

Annual Compensation

Peoples Trust offers a competitive annual salary and discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $55,000 and $60,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience that the chosen candidate possesses.
