About the Role
  • Conduct registration and confidential screening with donors, leveraging effective communication skills to build trust and promote a positive experience.
  • Provide accurate information, instruction, and advice on blood donation to donors, utilizing excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Utilize knowledge and experience as a coach and consultant to donor centre staff, leading by example and providing guidance as needed.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive environment, fostering an atmosphere where all employees feel valued and empowered to succeed.
  • Participate in mobile events within our communities, assisting with setup and teardown to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the province is mandatory.
  • Two years of nursing experience is considered an asset, along with certifications in First Aid and CPR.
  • Experience as a preceptor or coach can be beneficial, showcasing exceptional leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems and programs quickly.
  • A second language can be advantageous, supporting a positive donor experience.
