We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Operations Assistant to join our team at Skyservice. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building and providing exceptional service to our employees, guests, and tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the facilities team with daily operations, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the building and its grounds.
  • Manage inventory and records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Respond to facility-related inquiries and provide information to tenants, users, and staff.
  • Support the team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the building.
  • Perform general cleaning duties as required, including tasks such as snow removal and FOD collection.
  • Assist with office moves and set-up/take-down of events on-site.
  • Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to identify and report maintenance and repair needs.
  • Sign in/out and escort contractors as per Skyservice Security policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the facilities team.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
  • Previous experience in events, cleaning, or property management is an asset.
  • A valid Quebec driver's license is required.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as CAD or other design software, is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
