Project Manager, Industrial Strategy

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Bombardier Transportation GmbH. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Your primary focus will be on coordinating the implementation of project packages, controlling project costs, managing risks, and assessing the team's ability to meet deadlines. You will also be responsible for reporting to management on the health of the project, preparation for acceleration, and progress of mitigation plans.
In addition, you will coordinate a multifunctional team to establish the industrial strategy, production layout, and build tomorrow's performance. You will synthesize and document project strategies and solutions, and make strategic recommendations to support the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Structure the project and support the different departments in the implementation of project packages.
- Control project costs, manage risks, and assess the team's ability to meet deadlines.
- Report to management on the health of the project, preparation for acceleration, and progress of mitigation plans.
- Coordinate a multifunctional team to establish the industrial strategy, production layout, and build tomorrow's performance.
- Synthesize and document project strategies and solutions.
- Make strategic recommendations to support the company's objectives.
- You hold a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, engineering, or business administration.
- You have at least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- You have at least 2 years' experience in project management or experience as a team supervisor.
- You have training and experience in Industrial Engineering and/or Continuous Improvement.
- You have a knack for simplifying information and are comfortable presenting to upper management.
- You are dynamic and work well in a team.
- You are a leader and are motivated by new challenges.
- You are patient, driven, and curious.
- You are flexible in the face of changes in priorities and strategies that affect your project.
- You use MS Project and Excel.
- You are bilingual (French and English spoken and written).
