Project Manager, Plant Layout, Industrial Engineering

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our Plant Layout team in optimizing our manufacturing processes. As a key member of our Industrial Engineering team, you will be responsible for defining floor plans, analyzing aircraft flow, and identifying improvement projects to increase efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define floor plans for production assembly lines
  • Analyze aircraft flow, parts, equipment, and manpower
  • Identify and participate in improvement projects (Kaizen)
  • Establish detailed manpower requirements and production capacity
  • Produce daily production schedules and collect manufacturing data
  • Participate in analyzing and establishing production standard time
  • Establish detailed value stream mapping

Requirements

  • College or Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • Strong logical and mechanical skills
  • Ability to simplify tasks and work independently
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Ms Project
  • Familiarity with the aerospace industry and furniture manufacturing (an asset)
