About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Associate to join our Wealth Management team at Scotiabank. As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our Wealth Advisors in the development and management of their client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify new business opportunities to grow our client base and increase revenue
  • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of financial products and services to identify new opportunities within our existing client base
  • Work with Wealth Advisors and Total Wealth Specialists to deepen client relationships through comprehensive wealth planning
  • Prepare, analyze, and present reports and recommendations to clients
  • Develop and distribute client communication and marketing materials
  • Lead and mentor other associates on the team, providing direction and coaching
  • Regularly review and improve administrative processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO
  • Successfully completed the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong time management skills
  • Exceptional client service skills, providing a professional and respectful experience
