Your Role as a Caregiver Support Specialist

As part of our Outreach Team, you'll work in the community to provide essential non-medical support services, helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients with personal care and daily living activities
  • Supporting life-skills development
  • Helping with light housekeeping and meal prep
  • Escorting and arranging transportation to appointments
  • Creating meaningful connections and providing compassionate care

What We're Looking For

We're seeking caring, reliable, and motivated individuals who can grow with us. Our ideal candidate:

  • Has experience supporting individuals with disabilities and/or seniors
  • Possesses additional certifications in personal care, first aid, or healthcare (preferred but not required)
  • Empathizes with people and builds meaningful relationships
  • Has basic math skills for tasks like medication counting or household planning
  • Is fluent in English (other languages are an asset)
  • Holds a valid driver's license and has a reliable vehicle (required)
  • Can provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check or Criminal Reference Check
