Intermediate Sales Audit Lead

Job Summary:
The Sales Audit Lead - Financial Analyst will be responsible for the reconciliation, application, and investigation of payments to both Third Party Plans and any Third Party manual billings to Store Charge accounts. This role will involve following up with external parties on payments, investigating and identifying short pays and audits, preparing reporting for internal teams, and preparing various General Ledger account reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile, upload, and create receipts in JDE for matching of plan payments
- Conduct cash application and manually investigate all unmatched items by the correct plan and store in a timely manner
- Investigate and report on payment discrepancies to identify potential risk of write-offs
- Accurate and timely loading of Monday morning sales entries
- Coordinate with CFM team to identify and adjust third party billings
- Prepare a weekly report to forecast third party payments
- Setup of New Store Openings to ensure all providers and third-party plans are attached and mapped accurately
- Quarterly invoicing of Manitoba Flu Shot and PFS Billings
- Coordinate the review of accounts sent to collections to resolve bad debts and recoveries
- Prepare reporting in regard to government regulation changes leading to a financial impact for Katz Group Canada
- Facilitate the training of new Third Party staff
- Prepare journal entries as required
- Prepare General Ledger reconciliations for assigned accounts to ensure balances reconcile to subledger or control accounts
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Katz Group Canada
Requirements:
- 2-3-year College diploma in Business or Accounting required
- 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role is required
- Experience with JDE, POS Systems, AS400 and running queries from databases (DW) preferred
- Retail accounting experiences an asset
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Solid understanding of accounting practices required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel required
- Strict confidentiality
- Superior customer service skills
- Able to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent time management and analytical skills
