Intermediate Sales Audit Lead

About the Role:
The Intermediate Sales Audit Lead is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sales reconciliations and investigations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting practices and excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile and upload plan payments in JDE, ensuring accurate and timely matching
- Conduct cash application and investigate unmatched items, identifying potential risk of write-offs
- Investigate and report on payment discrepancies, providing recommendations for resolution
- Accurately and timely load Monday morning sales entries
- Coordinate with the CFM team to identify and adjust third-party billings
- Prepare a weekly report to forecast third-party payments
- Setup new store openings to ensure accurate provider and third-party plan attachments
- Quarterly invoice Manitoba Flu Shot and PFS billings
- Coordinate the review of accounts sent to collections to resolve bad debts and recoveries
- Prepare reporting on government regulation changes impacting Rexall Pharmacy Group ULC
- Facilitate training for new Third-Party staff
- Prepare journal entries as required
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group ULC
Requirements:
- 2-3 year College diploma in Business or Accounting
- 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role
- Experience with JDE, POS Systems, AS400, and database queries preferred
- Retail accounting experience an asset
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel required
- Strict confidentiality and superior customer service skills
- Able to work independently and within a team environment
