Job Title: Security Guard

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular foot patrols to monitor site safety and security
  • Evict any loiterers that are blocking entrances or stairwells
  • Attend incidents, de-escalate situations, and write detailed reports
  • Interact with clients and the general public, providing excellent customer service
  • Other duties as required to meet operational needs
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of work experience in the security industry
  • Reliable personal vehicle to commute to the site
  • Strong communication, customer service, professionalism, and observation skills
  • Confidence approaching and leading in emergency situations
  • A keen eye for watching and reporting irregularities
  • Physical ability to stand and/or patrol for the majority of a shift

Pay Rate: $21.50/hour
Shifts: Monday-Friday, 4-hour shifts (20 hours per week)
Please note that these shift times are not transit accessible, so a reliable vehicle is required.
