Trade Support Analyst - Structured and Exotique Product Specialist

About the Role:

Société Générale Assurances is seeking a skilled Trade Support Analyst - Structured and Exotique Product Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Global Business Service Unit (GBSU) Canada, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day services to our investment and corporate bank units and their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modeling of complex Exotic transactions and negotiated events in the information system, under delegation of the Front Office
  • Control the quality and the completeness of the information entered
  • Analysis and regulation of the breaks raised by Middle-Office Control and other parties involved in the Front to Back chain
  • Coordination between the Front-Office and the other support functions (Middle-Office Control, Back-Office, Risk Department, Finance Department, ...) on the processing of requests for information and problem solving

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in finance or financial markets
  • A first experience in financial markets is needed, in order to master the financial products and the processes
  • Deep knowledge and practical skills in Excel, VBA and financial mathematics
  • Good inter-personal and partnering skills, a "team-player"
  • Demonstrate initiatives, solutions oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic, deadline-focused environment

Language: French, English

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
