Trade Support Analyst

Societe Generale is seeking a Trade Support Analyst to join our Global Banking & Investors Solutions team in Montreal, Canada.

About the Job

The Trade Support Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the modeling of complex Exotic transactions and negotiated events in our information system, under delegation of the Front Office. This role will also involve controlling the quality and completeness of the information entered, analyzing and regulating breaks raised by Middle-Office Control and other parties involved in the Front to Back chain, and coordinating between the Front-Office and other support functions on the processing of requests for information and problem solving.

Responsibilities
  • Modeling of complex Exotic transactions and negotiated events in the information system, under delegation of the Front Office
  • Control the quality and the completeness of the information entered
  • Analysis and regulation of the breaks raised by Middle-Office Control and other parties involved in the Front to Back chain
  • Coordination between the Front-Office and the other support functions (Middle-Office Control, Back-Office, Risk Department, Finance Department,...) on the processing of requests for information and problem solving
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in finance or financial markets
  • A first experience in financial markets is needed, in order to master the financial products and the processes
  • Deep knowledge and practical skills in Excel, VBA and financial mathematics
  • Good inter-personal and partnering skills, a "team-player"
  • Demonstrate initiatives, solutions oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic, deadline-focused environment
