Community Safety Specialist

A Community Safety Advisor plays a vital role in promoting community safety and wellbeing. This position requires a consultative and facilitative approach, providing leadership and support in various capacities, including advocacy, education, convening, capacity building, and coordination.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma in a related field (Community or Social Development, Criminology, Public Administration, or equivalent)
- Bylaw Enforcement and Investigative Skills education or equivalent
- Experience in conflict resolution, communication, people management, project management, computer literacy, teamwork, and BC Drivers License - Class 5
- RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance
