Food Service Supervisor - Team Leader

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our team at Shawarma Palace. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and supervise staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and make adjustments as needed to maintain high standards.
Requirements
  • Supervision: Lead a team of 3-4 people.
  • Security and Safety: Pass a criminal record check.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and engage in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Communication Skills: Possess efficient interpersonal skills and a client-focused attitude.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
