Job Title: Ag Retail Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ag Retail Operations Manager to lead our Agro Division operations in Melville, Lipton, and Ituna. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and efficient operation, and adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to Agro Division operations, programs, and policies to meet budgeted goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the Prairie Coop's objectives and industry best practices.
  • Lead sourcing efforts to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality and cost-effectiveness criteria.
  • Administer and achieve budgeted goals as it relates to pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory of the commodity.
  • Oversee the completion and follow-through of all safety and environmental policies and procedures and ensure standards are achieved.
  • Provide leadership to the Melville, Lipton, and Ituna Ag Sales Representatives, including recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training, and development of team members.
