Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee the Agro Division operations, programs, and policies in Melville, Lipton, and Ituna. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a safe and efficient operation, and adhere to company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead sourcing efforts to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality and cost-effectiveness criteria.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the Prairie Co-op's objectives and industry best practices.
  • Administer and achieve budgeted goals as it relates to pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory of the commodity.
  • Oversee the completion and follow-through of all safety and environmental policies and procedures and ensure standards are achieved.
  • Provide leadership to the Melville, Lipton, and Ituna Ag Sales Representatives, including recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training, and development of team members.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 6-8 years of leadership experience.
  • Strategic leadership skills, focusing on long-term strategies.
  • Ability to build networks and collaborate to deliver solutions that matter most.
  • Results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • Honest and trustworthy, with a degree in Agriculture.
