We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Planning Specialist to join our FP&A team in Canada. This is a full-time, hybrid position that provides a lot of flexibility.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business forward. You will conduct detailed financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for senior management. Your findings will highlight performance against key metrics and identify trends for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform business decisions.
  2. Analyze large data sets to build and maintain financial models supporting business scenarios.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve data integrity.
  4. Provide strategic financial planning support, evaluating new business opportunities with pricing strategies, ROI analysis, and risk assessments.
  5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within marketing services or service/project-based revenue businesses.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Macros, pivot tables, reporting, conditional formatting, data simulations, and modeling.
  • CPA or CFA is an asset.
  • NetSuite knowledge is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Compensation and Benefits
