About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Director, FP&A to join our team at Mattamy Homes Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial planning and analytical support to drive business growth and informed decision-making.

About the Job

As the Director, FP&A, you will lead a team of five and report directly to the Senior Vice-President, Finance. Your primary focus will be on providing quantitative and qualitative decision support to the Mattamy Homes Canada leadership team, including the MHC Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and analyses to inform business decisions.
  • Lead the annual financial planning process, working closely with business segments to create high-quality plans.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis to support informed decision-making.
  • Champion process improvement and standardization across divisions to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Support the development of presentations and materials for quarterly investor calls.
  • Analyze market data and industry reports to inform business strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships across the organization and with external partners.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a team of five within the FP&A group.

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CFA, CBV).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial planning and forecasting, corporate finance, or a similar role.
  • Experience with financial planning and forecasting tools (OneStream, Hyperion).
  • Strong financial modeling and planning skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including PowerBI.
