Job Summary

The successful candidate will lead full-scale evaluation studies of large programs and complex projects related to SSHRC. This includes overseeing working groups and ensuring the implementation of evaluation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and manage evaluations consistent with federal government policies
  • Develop and apply specialized evaluation techniques, both qualitative and quantitative
  • Analyze data, synthesize findings, and present them to clients
  • Develop evaluation frameworks and ensure their implementation

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized university with a Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree is an asset
  • Specialization in public administration, economics, sociology, statistics, evaluation, or social research methods is an asset
  • Significant experience in conducting and managing evaluations, as well as developing evaluation frameworks
  • Knowledge of program evaluation practice, including federal government performance measurement and evaluation policies/standards
  • Knowledge of evaluation methodologies and approaches, as well as methods of statistical analysis
