Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Expert to join our team at JANA Corporation. As a key member of our Innovation Team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving our core risk modeling technology.

About the Role
  • You will apply your understanding of clients' needs, industry regulations, and risk modeling approaches to ensure that our models are technically sound and deliver actionable insights for our clients.
  • Under the direction of Principal Engineers, you will perform risk analysis on specific pipeline assets, identifying potential threats and consequences.
  • You will develop engineering solutions by applying data analysis techniques, including reliability modeling and prediction, fault tree analysis, and root-cause failure analysis.
Requirements
  • A strong educational background in a STEM field, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in risk or reliability engineering, or a research-based graduate degree with 1+ year of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced statistical and mathematical techniques, including probabilistic models.
  • Familiarity with coding languages, such as Python and SQL, is an asset.
