JANA is looking for a for an ambitious individual to join our Team as a GIS Specialist. JANA’s GIS Analysts are experts in our clients’ use of GIS technologies and help our clients to understand and execute better approaches for utilizing geospatial data to inform decisions helping revolutionize the Gas Pipeline Integrity industry. Working with a talented team, JANA’s GIS Analysts contribute to JANA’s product implementations by analyzing and visualizing client data, enhancing workflows, and continually improving our processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Works with client’s IT departments to configure ESRI GIS servers and set up the installation and integration of JANA’s products within the client’s GIS environments.
- Supports implementation process by providing expertise to meet client’s IT requirements and troubleshooting as required.
- Serves as front line support to respond to and triage production tickets raised by clients.
- Collaborates with internal teams to address and resolve client inquiries and issues
- Provides updates/upgrades, applies patches and addresses issues.
- Occasional evenings and weekends support required to deploy fixes during client off-hours

Technical Qualifications
- Undergraduate in Computer Science, Geomatics, or equivalent experience
- 2 years professional GIS Analysis or software development experience
- Experience working and integrating with.
- Experience working with Python and scripting in Python (ArcPy preferred)
- Experience working with databases and writing basic SQL queries
