About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mr. Bowl & Sushi. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Quality Control: Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that their needs are met.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people, with the potential to supervise 3-4 people in the future
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude
