We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill - Welland.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of cooks, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, managing inventory and supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

This is a permanent full-time position with an estimated salary range of $45,000 to $60,000 per year, based on relevant experience and qualifications. The work schedule will consist of 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes are served consistently.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and receiving goods.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Culinary arts diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and empower team members.
