About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Care Leader to join our team at Ranch Ehrlo Society. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with complex needs, behavioral challenges, developmental disabilities, and mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to participants, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and implement engaging activity plans, encouraging collaborative decision-making and positive relationships.
  • Lead daily group meetings and facilitate educational groups, promoting social development and life skills.
  • Support participants in areas including safety, treatment, medication administration, healthcare, nutrition, chores, and hygiene.
  • Teach essential life skills, such as self-care, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and positive social interactions.
  • Resolve conflicts and respond to crisis situations using behavior management and support methods.
  • Complete reports and documentation clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • A certificate, diploma, or degree in Child and Youth Care (CYC) or a related field of study.
  • Minimum (1) year of experience working with children, youth, and/or adults facing behavioral, cognitive, mental health, and/or developmental challenges.
  • Experience providing leadership, guidance, and support in a team environment.
  • Strong collaborative skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and leadership abilities.
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by clients at Ranch Ehrlo Society.
