Forecaster Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Forecaster to join our team at Eurofase Lighting. As a Forecaster, you will play a critical role in providing accurate sales forecasts and analyzing POS data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasting models to predict demand for products across various channels, including big box retailers and e-commerce platforms.
  • Analyze POS data to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to inform inventory management and replenishment strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inventory management, merchandising, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of forecasting and replenishment plans.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of forecasting and replenishment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting spreadsheets and historical POS data to support business decision-making.
  • Communicate forecasting results and insights to internal stakeholders, including senior management and business leaders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in forecasting and POS analysis for big box retailers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel, pivot tables, and retailer database portals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • College degree preferred.
