About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Load Forecasting Advisor to join our Power Advisory & Asset Management (PAAM) group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering load forecasting projects and developing tools to assist in the analysis of condition, forecasting, and investment scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement load forecasting models and tools to support our clients in the utility sector.
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver load forecasting and asset analytics projects, with a focus on energy transition trends and triggers.
  • Perform end-to-end data analytics, including data collection, transformation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Mentor junior staff and support the development of training materials and carries out formal and informal staff education, training, and mentorship sections.
  • Support Project Managers in the successful delivery of the projects, including leading elements of the projects when assigned by the project manager.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, programming (e.g., Python), and machine learning are key technical requirements.
  • Experience and knowledge in the development of load forecasts related to energy needs is a critical requirement.
  • Project management experience is considered an asset.
  • Industry designation and/or continuous education are assets.
