Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Courier to join our team at Million Deliveries Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, as well as operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Accept payment or invoices for items delivered
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Sell products over established routes
  • Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products
  • Keep a record of items received and delivered
  • Deliver newspapers, flyers to residences and businesses
  • Prepare, package, and restock goods
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
  • Accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences, or assemblies
  • Load and unload goods
  • Sort packages for delivery
  • Follow directions and read maps
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids
  • Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
  • Set appointments for sales team
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Provide customer service
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
Work Environment

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and we require our Delivery Couriers to be able to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.
