Job Title: Delivery Driver

Million Deliveries Inc is seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering packages and messages to customers in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and pick up packages, messages, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Accept payment or invoices for items delivered
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Sell products over established routes
  • Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products
  • Keep a record of items received and delivered
  • Deliver newspapers, flyers to residences and businesses
  • Prepare, package, and restock goods
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
  • Accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences, or assemblies
  • Load and unload goods
  • Sort packages for delivery
  • Follow directions and read maps
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids
  • Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
  • Set appointments for sales team
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Provide customer service
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and walk for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and dependability
Work Environment:

As a Delivery Driver, you will be working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will be required to lift and carry heavy loads, walk for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
