Job Title: Delivery Driver

Million Deliveries Inc is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and Pick Up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
  • Operate and Drive: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional customer service and accept payment or invoices for items delivered.
  • Relay Information: Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Sales and Delivery: Sell products over established routes and assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products.
  • Record Keeping: Keep a record of items received and delivered.
  • Transportation: Transport and handle dangerous goods and deliver newspapers, flyers to residences and businesses.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, pay and receive payments for goods, and provide customer service.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
Requirements:
  • Transportation/Travel Experience: Regional and national transportation/travel experience.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work conditions, handling heavy loads, walking, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, accurate, dependability, excellent oral communication, and initiative.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
